The summer is brutal, so the play pattern shifts to early-morning and after-dark outdoor sessions plus indoor clubs from May through September.

Dallas has Texas-sized pickleball. Oasis in Rockwall has 42 dedicated courts and hosts pro events, The Courts of McKinney has 24 courts and the PPA Veolia Texas Open, plus Chicken N Pickle, Sandy Pickle, and a solid free public network.
Houston →
Space City
Houston's pickleball scene is sprawling and indoor-led. PALA in Spring (19 courts) is the largest in Texas, Elite Pickleball Club has 24 courts in the Heights, and the PPA Challenger comes through Atascocita every February.
San Antonio →
Alamo City
Fairchild Park leads the free public scene with 18 dedicated courts. Chicken N Pickle at UTSA Blvd brings the eatertainment format, FIT Tennis Academy has 9 courts with LED lighting, and Texas Pickle Hall opened Live Oak as the city's largest indoor facility.
