The Heart of America

Dinks Pickleball (13 professional indoor courts in Merle Hay Mall) is the largest dedicated facility in central Iowa. Smash Park West Des Moines brings 8 indoor/outdoor courts with eatertainment programming. The new Rally Complex in Ankeny opened 12 lighted outdoor courts in Spring 2025. Des Moines is hosting the 2026 National Senior Games.
